The Shekhawats were really happy with Heer's decision and decided to hold the marriage in a month. It was huge news for the media Chapter 3 as well, as the hot single bachelor was finally getting married. Everyone was really happy except one person, and that was Ayaan. He had thought that Heer would have convinced their parents to cancel their marriage, but to his surprise, she agreed. He was at the club right now, waiting for his friends to arrive.
"Hello, ladies and gentlemen, zyada bore to nahi hue," a loud voice brought Ayaan back from his thoughts, and he shook his head. Of course, Ishaan had to make an entry like this. Following him were Reyansh and Abhimaan, who also looked like they were done with him.
"Hey dude, why so sad?" Ishaan sat beside Ayaan and ordered two shots.
"Mai shaadi kar raha hun," Ayaan said.
There was complete silence for a minute.
"kya?" Reyansh spoke up first.
"Acha, Mazak hai?" Abhimaan continued.
"Mazak nahi hai," Ayaan stated seriously.
"Yaar, mere paas to koi kaprey hi nahi," Ishaan gasped out dramatically.
"Kya matlab ke tum shaadi kar rahe ho mujhe to laga who phir se koi rumour hoga," Reyansh said, sipping his drink.
"Kash hota, par nahi, mai Heer Sharma se shaadi kar raha hoon," Ayaan said simply.
"Heer Sharma? Anand Sharma ki beti?"
"Hmm."
"Aur yeh shaadi kab hai?" Abhimaan asked.
"Next month," Ayaan said simply.
"WHATTT!!!!" all of them said at the same time.
"Ok, ok, tu baat yeh hai ke tumne shaadi karne ka bhi soch liya aur date bhi final karli, aur mujhe bataya bhi nahi dekh li tumhaari yaari," Ishaan said dramatically, keeping his hand on his heart.
After a while, all of them decided to go to their respective places as Ayaan came back to his penthouse. As he was going inside, he heard a voice calling him.
"Ayaan baby, you are back home! I was calling you," Shanaya slurred seductively.
Ayaan rolled his eyes. She was a business partner's daughter, and they accidentally hooked up one night when Ayaan was drunk, and till now she hadn’t stopped following him.
"What are you doing here?" Ayaan said coldly.
"I'm here to meet you, baby," Shanaya said, touching Ayaan on his arm. "I heard you are getting married. It's just a rumour, right?"
"No, it's not. I am getting married, and I want you nowhere near me again. If I see you coming back to my place, phir mujh se bura koi nahi hoga," Ayaan said, clearly annoyed.
"Nahi, tum aisa nahi kar sakte. Tumne to mujhse shaadi karni thi," Shanaya whined.
"Shanti, maine tumse kabhi nahi kaha tha main tumse shaadi karunga. It's just your imagination. Now, leave me alone," he said, entering inside.
"Mera naam Shanaya hai, aur tum usse kaise shaadi karte ho, mai bhi dekhti hoon," she threatened.
"Whatever," Ayaan muttered and went inside.
Next day
"Baba, I'm leaving," Heer announced.
"Where are you going? We have to go shopping for your clothes today," Rania said, coming outside.
"But Maa, I—"
"I don’t care, Ayaan, and you are going shopping today," Rania spat.
Heer sighed. She didn’t want to sacrifice her education, but it didn’t look like she had a choice. In the evening, Heer was pacing her room in nervousness, waiting for Ayaan's mother to pick her up. She had to go shopping with Ayaan. This was the first time they were going to meet since the marriage announcement.
The bell rang, breaking Heer’s trance as she ran to open the door. There stood Reena Shekhawat, smiling at Heer.
"Wah beta, you are looking so pretty. Are you ready to go?" she said, complimenting Heer, who was clad in a simple pink anarkali suit, a small necklace, and open hair.
Heer sighed in relief as she didn’t see Ayaan. That means only her and Reena were going. She was thinking about this when the next thing Reena said took her breath away again.
"Oh, and yes, beta, Ayaan will join us at the mall only."
Now again heer was nervous.
“lets go beta”
“yes aunty”
“what aunty aunty you can call me maa if you are comfortable”
“yes m-maa”
“ahh I always wanted a daughter and god is finally listening to my prayers”she said patting heer on the back. The whole ride to the mall, Reena was the only one talking excitedly about buying Heer’s clothes and jewelries while Heer just nodded her head. They reached the mall and went to the bridal session first. Heer and Reena were looking at the dresses when Reena gasped,
“this one is so beautiful heer beta go and try this one.”
Heer went in the changing room to change into the lehenga. It was indeed a beautiful lehenga. It was a red heavily embroidered lehenga which complemented her skin beautifully.
As she came out to show the dress to Reena she saw her talking to someone, as the person turned around Heer’s breath got caught. It was Ayaan. As Reena looked at her, she came to her excitedly,
“wow beta this looks gorgeous on you right Ayaan,” she said as Ayaan and Heer’s eyes met, he looked at her coldly and nodded his head.
“leave him what about you beta do you like it”
“yes aun-I mean maa its beautiful”
As Reena was packing up the clothes and looking at the jewels, Heer saw Ayaan walking up to her.
“I'll tell you beforehand so we have things clear between us, I don’t take you as my wife. This is a forced marriage, don’t expect anything from me,” Ayaan stated heartlessly, breaking whatever little hope Heer had of this marriage.
